Complex System Education
“Poetry is not a luxury. It forms the quality of the light within which we predicate our hopes and dreams toward survival and change, first made into language, then into idea, then into more tangible action.” Audre Lorde
The components of a living system continuously interact with one another and with their environment to exchange information, matter and energy. MayBe Art applies these principles in designing art systems model of education.
MayBe Art EDUCATION
Imagine that our connection to everything is creativity and that it is our deeply embedded dynamic with everything from the micro to macro in the universe. Many claim that In order to grasp this concept we need to understand our participation in nature as collective creative processes. MayBe Art content is based on the assumption that creativity is inherent in all natural systems and is the highest quality of human achievement because it guides us towards balance by inherently giving us infinite possibilities for change. MayBe Art aims to create conditions for genuine dialogue based upon respect for shared values and the dignity of each civilization and culture; it embraces not only human interests and life spans, but those on planetary and evolutionary planes as well. The world urgently requires global visions of sustainable development.
AESTHETIC URGE
MayBe Art education investigates the unsettling status of change by living in continual motion. As the stimulus and creativity by which making things becomes the primary function. We will observe how the world appears to operate in processes of self organization within in living systems processes. In each unique place we have the ability to sense the particular system and its individual adaptive qualities.
SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY
MayBe Art will teach and learn from diversities of people of all ages of life lived and culturally how they as a system in larger systems are interconnected, influencing all life, on micro and macro levels. We will acknowledge our newly wired brains in Conscious Evolution as behavioral and physical patterns both terrestrially and individually effected by adaptation and ongoing environmental changing conditions.
ECOLOGICAL MEMORY
Natures geometry and dynamical compositions throughout evolutionary time are both biotic and inanimate. Basic geometry and patterns of matter for example can be used as a key to encode as pre-biotic vibrating strings, DNA, protein structures, bacteria, terrestrial matter/energy such as plants, animals, water, and cosmic scales such as stars, galaxies, supernovae, lightening and planets.
ART INFORMATION
By creating a series of works deciphering our observations we can compare other forms of matter in their patterns, cycles, repetitions, relationships, migrations, decay, growth and renewal in nature. The idea is to see by experiencing this aesthetic process how all existence from the smallest vibration to the largest solar system perform in variations of each and with each other. These observations aim to show an interconnectedness and reciprocal reliance on biodiversity. The completed work will create culminating exhibitions of art works displaying the intrinsic interconnectedness of the many living and nonliving systems. Exhibitions will show in relevant institutes, schools and galleries initiating shared information in narratives for others to feedback connections in numeric, written, verbal, acoustic and visual communication.
